Autonaut started in 2005 as the founder was looking for a clean looking T-shirt of his favourite car, the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia (having recently acquired a 1957 model coupé). Unable to find such a tee, he used Spreadshirt to make one for himself. Thinking that others would like the same opportunity, the T-shirt was also made for sale at Spreadshirt.

Autonaut aspire to offer the worlds largest collection of classic auto related quality T-shirts. With hundreds of motifs and thousands of product variants, that goal may well be achieved already.

Focus is on classic cars and motorcycles, american muscle cars and off-road vehicles.

Though initially offering T-shirts was the basis for Autonaut, the idea soon sprung to mind to build Autonaut as the ultimate online resource for said vehicles. Which the current site is the small first steps of.

As such, Autonaut wish to offer forums, event calendars, manuals, classifieds and more.

This is a mammoth task, so please do not expect it all at once, but feel free to use Autonauts many services as they emerge.
